Introduction to Volunteering Sessions

These sessions give a useful introduction to volunteering for people interested in volunteering.

This free 2 hour session is open to:

  • Residents of Banyule and Nillumbik
  • Volunteer Coordinators and staff members of not-for-profit organizations
  • New volunteers

These sessions cover the following:

  • How volunteering benefits you, the volunteer and community organisations
  • What we do – Volunteers of Banyule
  • Range of volunteer options available – how to find a position
  • What to expect when you become a volunteer
  • Rights and responsibilities as a volunteer

Places are limited.

Venue of Training: Bendigo Bank Community Room, 164 Hawdon st, Heidelberg.

Times: 10am – 12pm Morning tea is provided
